The Hope College women's golf team closed out its fall schedule on Saturday with a seventh-place finish at the MIAA Jamboree #4, hosted by Alma College at Pine River Country Club on Saturday.
The Flying Dutch posted a team score of 334, while Trine University led the field with a 311. Saint Mary's College and Kalamazoo College followed closely behind, tying for second with scores of 313.
With the conclusion of the fourth and final fall jamboree, Hope sits in sxith place overall in the MIAA standings with a combined four-jamboree score of 1,298.
Saint Mary's College leads with 1,261, followed closely by Trine University at 1,262, Kalamazoo at 1,281, Albion College at 1,288 and Calvin University at 1,297.
Junior Rachael Jones (Grove City, Ohio / Grove City HS) continued her strong season with a 3-over-;parround of 75, tying for fifth place individually.
Jones remains among the league's elite, ranking in the top three individually through four jamborees with a cumulative score of 306. She trails Melanie Maier of Saint Mary's (298) and Rylee Smith of Trine (302), who hold second and first place, respectively.
Junior Jaiden Winters (New Carlisle, Indiana / New Prairie) and senior Sara Muir (Ada, Michigan / Grand Rapids Christian) each posted rounds of 86.
Senior Caydee Constant (Grand Haven, Michigan / Grand Haven) and junior Kylie Gernaat (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Christian) both shot 87.
Competing as an individual, junior Allyson Zuidema (Northville, Michigan / Northville) recorded an 84.
The Flying Dutch will resume MIAA competition at the 36-hole Spring Finale, a two-day event scheduled for April 24-25, at the Legacy by Arthur Hills in n Ottawa Lake, Michigan.
