Middle blockers
Kamryn Burbridge and
Olivia Wyma joined setter
Lauren Lee to form a triumphant trio for the nationally ranked and MIAA regular-season champion Hope College volleyball team.
The American Volleyball Coaches Association rewarded their exceptional play with All-Region honors for all three and Region 7 Player of the Year recognition for Lee.
Lee (Plymouth, Michigan / Skyline) is the Flying Dutch's third consecutive Region Player of the Year, following former teammate Addie VanderWeide, who earned the honor in 2023 and 2024.
A biology major, Lee has totaled 1,021 assists over 28 matches for the Flying Dutch so far this season. The 5-foot-7 senior has recorded 92 kills, 17 service aces and 14 blocks over 100 sets while helping Hope win a third consecutive MIAA regular-season title and return to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
A four-time All-Region selection, Lee also was named the MIAA Women's Volleyball Most Valuable Player earlier this month.
Burbridge (Grand Haven, Michigan / Grand Haven) earned her first All-Region honor.
The 6-foot-3 junior has surpassed her single-season bests in kills (255) and hitting percentage (.339).
An exercise science major, Burbridge also has totaled 83 blocks in 97 sets this season, including 17 solo blocks.
Wyma (Hartland, Wisconsin / Arrowhead) claimed her first All-Region honor.
The 6-foot-4 sophomore already has set career highs this season in sets played (99), kills (260), total blocks (100) and solo blocks (33).
A biology major, Wyma takes a career-best .388 hitting percentage into the NCAA Tournament.
