Men's Track and Field Puts 13 on All-MIAA Outdoor Teams

Thirteen Hope College men's track and field team members have earned All-MIAA accolades for the 2025 outdoor season.

There are six on the All-MIAA First Team: senior Joshua Ennen (Zeeland, Michigan / Zeeland West HS); juniors Liam Danitz (West Branch, Michigan / Ogemaw Heights), Erickson Kunzler (Marne, Michigan / Catholic Central) and Ian Petruska (Fort Collins, Colorado / Fort Collins); sophomore Dylan Terpstra (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville); and freshman Gavin Bush (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan / Birmingham Seaholm).

Seven more made the All-MIAA Second Team: seniors Lucas Guidone (Chicago, Illinois / Taft), Jonathan Harlow (Holland, Michigan / Home School) and Samuel Miller (Zionsville, Indiana / Zionsville); juniors Carston Cole (Holland, Michigan / West Ottawa) and Nolan Sanders (Midland, Michigan / H.H. Dow); and sophomores Matthew Bir (Wenatchee, Washington / River Academy) and Jack Trumble (Granger, Indiana / Trinity School).

This season also marked the debut of the All-MIAA Second Team honors for track and field. First Team recognition is awarded to event winners, while Second Team honors are given to event runner-ups.

Danitz earned first-team honors as MIAA champion in the 100-meter run, 200-meter run and the 4x400 relay. The exercise science major received second-team distinction in the 4x100 relay.

Terpstra claimed first-team accolades as MIAA champion in the 400-meter run and the 4x400 relay, and second-team honors in the 4x100 relay.

Kunzler, an exercise science major, made the All-MIAA First Team as league champion in the 800 meters.

Petruska achieved All-MIAA First Team distinction as league champion in the 1,500-meter run.

Ennen, a social work major, and Bush both earned first-team honors in the 4x400 relay.

Guidone, a biochemistry and molecular biology major, is an All-MIAA Second Team selection in the 800-meter run.

Cole, an exercise science major, claimed All-MIAA Second Team accolades in the 5,000-meter run.

Harlow, an engineering major, achieved All-MIAA Second Team honors in the steeplechase.

Miller, an engineering major, made the All-MIAA Second Team in the 400-meter hurdles.

Bir is an All-MIAA Second Team selection in the javelin.

Sanders, a chemical engineering major, and Trumble both earned second-team honors in the 4x100 relay.
