Men's Golfers Liam Casey and Hank Roebuck Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

The award is presented by the Golf Coaches Association of America

Two Hope College men's golfers have been selected as Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars in NCAA Division III by the Golf Coaches Association of America: Liam Casey and Hank Roebuck.

To be nominated, individuals must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically and must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a
stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

Casey (Northville, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central HS) is a business major who led the Flying Dutchmen in scoring average en route to an MIAA championship at 72.17 over six rounds during his junior season and a return trip at the NCAA Division III championships.

Roebuck (Ann Arbor, Michigan / Skyline) averaged 77.13 during MIAA play in his sophomore season.

Casey and Roebuck are among 202 Division III men's golfers to claim the accolade.
