Women's Swimming and Diving Claims CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Spring Honors

The Hope College women's swimming and diving team earned the Scholar All-America Team accolades from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America for the 2025 spring semester.

The Flying Dutch, who finished ninth at the NCAA Division III Championships as a team and earned a fifth consecutive MIAA title, posted a 3.58 team grade point average during the semester.

To earn the honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.

Hope, led by head coach Jake Taber, has earned CSCAA semester academic honors nine years in a row.

Samantha Barany, the CSCAA's executive director of the CSCAA, praised this semester's 763 honorees across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA divisions.

"These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes," Barany said in a statement. "Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."
