Men's Cross Country Rises Again in USTFCCCA National Poll

The Hope College men's country team continued to climb in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll for NCAA Division III.

Led by head coach Mark Northuis, the Flying Dutchmen moved up two spots to 12th in the Week 2 rankings after totaling 182 points.

Hope was 23rd in the preseason rankings and rose to 14th in the Week 1 poll.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse topped the Division III rankings with 298 points and eight of 10 possible first-place votes.

The Flying Dutchmen still remained atop this week's USTFCCCA Great Lakes Regional rankings.

Hope competes next on Friday, Oct. 3, at 5:15 p.m. Central at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Invitational.
