Track's Molly Durow Earns Second Team All-America Honors in the Mile

Hope College senior Molly Durow raced to Second Team All-America honors in the mile run at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at Birmingham, Alabama.

The senior from Glenview, Illinois (Glenbrook South) finished 15th overall during prelims with a time of 4 minutes, 53.49 seconds.

Johns Hopkins University's Mackenzie Setton clocked the top qualifying round at 4:49.60. The top eight finishers advanced to the final on Saturday, March 14.

Bartolazzi praised Durow's effort to close out her indoor season.

"Molly capped off an incredible indoor season with a gutsy mile race," Bartolazzi said. "She's such a great competitor and very obviously gave it all she had today."
