Eleven from Men's Track and Field Selected to USTFCCCA All-Great Lakes Region Team

Eleven members of the Hope College men's track and field team earned All-Great Lakes Region recognition for the 2026 indoor season from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association: seniors Carston Cole and Erickson Kunzler; junior Dylan Terpstra; sophomores Kevin Barifagok, Logan Begeman, and Elias Kretchmar; and freshman Aiden Moore, Luke Bellino, Lincoln Phillips, Maurice Streeter, and Elijah Forbord.

All-region honors are awarded to the top-8 individuals in each event from each region, as well as the members of the region's top-8 relay teams.

Terpstra (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville) led the Flying Dutchmen with All-Great Lakes Region honors in the 200 and 400 meters and the 4x400 relay.

The all-region 4x400 relay also featured Barifagok (Las Vegas, Nevada / Cristo Rey Saint Viator), Kunzler (Marne, Michigan / Grand Rapids Catholic Central), Terpstra, and Bellino (Brighton, Michigan / Brighton).

The all-region distance medley relay featured Moore (Battle Creek, Michigan / Lakeview), Bellino, Kunzler, and Kretchmar (Granville, Ohio / Granville).

In the mile, Moore, Kretchmar, and Begeman (Portage, Michigan / Portage Central) all received all-region recognition.

Forbord (Howell, Michigan / Brighton) earned all-region distinction in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters; Cole (Holland, Michigan / West Ottawa) in the 3,000 meters.

Streeter (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Central) made all-region in the 60 meters.

Phillips (Dorr, Michigan / Hamilton) was all-region in the heptathlon.
