Behind a doubles sweep and five singles victories, Hope College powered past Lake Forest 6–1 on Friday at the DeWitt Tennis Center.
The Flying Dutch moved to 5-5 on the year.
Hope's scoring run began in doubles, where the Flying Dutch swept all three courts to seize early momentum.
Hope carried its doubles momentum into singles, earning five of six points with four decisive straight-set wins and a resilient three-set effort from freshman Sophia Grzesiak.
Hope opens MIAA league play on Saturday, March 21 on the road at Olivet at 3 p.m.
