Women’s Golf Takes Sixth in MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll

The Hope College women's golf team placed sixth in the 2026-27 MIAA Women's Golf Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Flying Dutch totaled 35 points in the nine-team rankings.

Led by head coach Megan Radaz '22, Hope aims to build a strong spring season that catapulted the Flying Dutch to a third-place finish in last season's standings with a team scoring average of 321.67.

Senior Rachael Jones of Grove City, Ohio (Grove City), returns to the tee box after earning All-MIAA First Team honors with a 77.33 season average.

Senior Jaiden Winters of New Carlisle, Indiana (New Prairie), is back as an All-MIAA Second Team selection after averaging 80.83.

Four MIAA teams received first-place votes, including preseason favorite Trine University (59 points, 3 first-place votes). Second-place Saint Mary's College (56 points, 4 first-place) was followed by Albion College (46 points, 1 first-place), Adrian College (38), Kalamazoo College (37 points, 1 first-place), Hope, Calvin University (30), Alma College (15), and The University of Olivet (8).

Hope begins the season on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m. with a match against Calvin at Clearbrook Golf Course.

The Flying Dutch will host the second of four MIAA Jamborees on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. at Clearbrook.
