The Hope College women's soccer team has to wait longer to play its season opener.

A Tuesday thunderstorm neer let the Flying Dutch's game against Cornerstone University at Van Andel Soccer Stadium. No make-up date has been determined.

The Flying Dutch next are scheduled to play on Friday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Lynchburg in Salem, Virginia.
