2015 MIAA Swimming & Diving Championships Day 4 Preview

The 2015 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Swimming & Diving Championships will be held through Saturday, February 14 at the Holland Community Aquatic Center in Holland, Michigan.

Saturday preliminary heats for all swimming events will start at 10 a.m., with event finals starting each night at 5:30 p.m.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets will be sold at the Holland Community Aquatic Center one hour before each session. Admission to the Wednesday, February 11, session is free. Individuals can purchase an all-session pass or a single-session pass beginning on Wednesday, February 11. All-session passes are $35 for adults and $25 for faculty, staff and students. Single-session passes are $8 for adults and $5 for faculty, staff and students. MIAA students are admitted free with ID. Children 12 and younger get in free. 

SEATING INFORMATION
Each college will be assigned a section for spectator seating. The seating within each section is general admission. The spectator seating sections will rotate after every session. The facility will open to spectators one hour prior to the first event of each session. Seating is limited to 500 people per session.

From Grand Rapids Area or Lansing: Take I-196 West and take Exit #52 for 16th Street. Turn right on 16th Street and follow it West into Holland (approx. 5 miles). Turn left onto Maple Avenue and follow it South to 22nd Street. The Aquatic Center is located on the corner of 22nd Street and Maple Avenue.

From M-40: Take M-40 north into Holland. Once I-196 is crossed, M-40 turns into Lincoln Avenue. Take Lincoln Avenue six blocks north to 32nd Street. Head west on 32nd Street and follow it six blocks to Washington Street/Michigan Avenue. Head north five blocks to 24th Street. Turn left onto 24th Street and follow it West one block to Maple Avenue.

From South Haven: Take 196 to the Washington exit. Follow Washington North to 24th Street. Turn left onto 24th Street and follow it West one block to Maple Avenue. 

From Muskegon or Grand Haven Area:
Take US 31 South to 16th Street. Turn right at 16th Street and follow it West to Maple Avenue. Turn left onto Maple Avenue and follow it South to 22nd Street. The Aquatic Center is located on the corner of 22nd Street and Maple Avenue.

PARKING INFORMATION
There are a limited number of spaces in the Holland Community Aquatic Center parking lot. Parking also is allowed on the streets in the neighbordhood surrounding the Holland Community Aquatic Center.
