Hope College's Grace Ditzenberger has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Volleyball Player of the Week.

The senior middle hitter from Centennial, Colorado (Chaparral HS) is recognized for the first time in her career after helping the nationally ranked Flying Dutch win all three matches at the Midwest Invitational last weekend.

Ditzenberger averaged 11.0 kills and 8.7 blocks against No. 7 Thomas More College (Kentucky), No. 19 Ohio Northern University, and Susquehanna University (Pennsylvania) during play at Calvin College.

On Saturday, Ditzenberger set a school record with 12 total blocks against Ohio Northern and equaled the second-most number of blocks in an NCAA Division III game this season. She also recorded a career-high 13 kills during the match.

Ditzenberger followed that performance with a 12-kill, four-block effort in a sweep of Susquehanna.

On Friday, Ditzenberger matched the school record with 10 blocks against Thomas More.
