Hope College's Daniel Settecerri has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week.

The junior from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Bloomfield Hills HS) is receiving the honor after shooting 5-under-par at the 36-hole, Olivet College Lou Collins Memorial this past weekend and earning medalist honors.

Settecerri helped the Flying Dutchmen win the season-opening, 14-team tournament at Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek by 14 strokes.

On Saturday, Settecerri fired a 4-under-par 68 to lead all golfers in the field. He carded a 71 in Friday's opening round.

This is the second time in his career Settecerri has been named MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week.
