Three Hope College men's cross country runners clocked 8K times under 29 minutes to lead the Flying Dutchmen 'B' team to a sixth-place finish at the Muskegon Community College Invitational on Friday.
Freshman Anders Bogard of Mattawan, Michigan (Kalamazoo Christian HS) finished in 27 minutes, 58.99 seconds to lead Hope with a 40th-place effort at University Park Golf Course.
Freshman Aidan Jones, pictured, of West Olive, Michigan (Black River), went 28:20.84 for 49th place for the Flying Dutchmen.
Senior Jonah Engelhardt of Cincinnati, Ohio (Wyoming) recorded a time of 28:57.1 for 62nd place.
Sophomore Cameron Carpenter of Glencoe, Missouri (Lafeyette) posted a run of 29:06.77 for 68th place.
Freshman Zach Elmore of Cadillac, Michigan (Cadillac) ran a 29:08.52 for 69th place.
Hope's next meet is Thursday, October 17 at 4 p.m. hosted by Calvin University at the Gainey Athletic Complex in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
