Women's Tennis Sweeps Oberlin

The Hope College women's tennis team did not drop a set en route to a 9-0 victory at Oberlin College on Friday.

The Flying Dutch evened their overall record at 1-1.

At No. 1 singles, junior Claire Hallock of Lakeland, Florida (Harrison Center HS), pictured, defeated Delaney Black, 6-0, 6-4.

At No. 1 doubles, Hallock and junior Amanda Bandrowski of Traverse City, Michigan (St. Francis) topped Black and Alandria Bellamy, 8-3.

Hope's next match is Saturday, February 16 at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Flying Dutch are ranked 39th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association NCAA Division III rankings. Case Western is 16th.
