Three Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes Earn All-Region Recognition

Three members of the Hope College men's indoor track & field team have received all-region honors for the 2018-19 season from the United States Track & Field Cross Cross Coaches Association.

Senior Justin Freeman of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS), Josh Izenbart of Glenwood, Illinois (Homewood-Flossmoor) and junior Owen Ljung of Sonoma, California represent the Flying Dutchmen among Great Lakes Region honorees.

Freeman, pictured left, earned his award in the 60-meter dash.

Izenbart, pictured middle,claimed his honor in the heptathlon.

Ljung, pictured right, made all-region in the 800 meters.

A total of 1590 USTFCCCA all-region honors were handed out to 192 different member institutions, including 786 men.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams.
