The 32nd-ranked Hope College women's tennis team won at Alma College, 9-0, and claimed at least a share of a fifth consecutive MIAA championship on Tuesday.
The Flying Dutch (14-5 overall) raised their league record to 7-0 with today's regular-season finale against Adrian College remaining.
Hope clinched the top seed in next week's MIAA Tournament and will host a semifinal on Wednesday, May 1 against an opponent to be determined.
Against Alma, the Flying Dutch won four singles matches and two doubles flights without losing a game.
The Hope-Adrian match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at Etheridge Tennis Complex.
