The 33rd-ranked Hope College women's tennis team opens postseason play on Wednesday, May 1 as the top seed in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament.
The Flying Dutch, who are 15-5 on the season, will host fourth-seeded Calvin College in a 4 p.m. semifinal at Etheridge Tennis Complex. If necessary, the match will be moved indoors to DeWitt Tennis Center.
Wednesday's winner advances to play either second-seeded Kalamazoo College and third-seeded Saint Mary's College on Friday at 4 p.m. at the site of the highest remaining seed.

The MIAA Tournament champion will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The national field is announced on ncaa.com on Monday, May 6 by noon.
The Flying Dutch are seeking their eighth consecutive MIAA Tournament title and 16th overall.
Hope won the first match against Calvin this season, 9-0, on April 2 at home.
