Hope College's Abby Koops is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Diving Athlete of the Week.

The freshman from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Northern HS) took first place on the 1- and 3-meter boards during a double dual meet against NCAA Division II Hillsdale College and Division III Ohio Northern University.

Koops won the 1-meter board with a total of 233.30 points that was 50 points ahead of the nearest competitor.

On the 3-meter board, Koops recorded a winning score of 235.50 points.

Koops also was a member of the Flying Dutch's synchronized diving pairing at the MIAA Relays.
