The Hope College women's tennis team served up five straight-set wins during an 8-1 victory against Kalamazoo College on Friday at VandePoel-Heeringa Stadium Courts.
The Flying Dutch raised their record to 4-2 overall. The match did not count toward the MIAA standings.

In singles play, junior Sydney Jackson of Fort Wayne, Indiana (Carroll HS) topped Kalamazoo's Caroline Norton at the No. 1 flight, 6-2, 6-3.
At No. 2 singles, senior Leah Newhof of Caledonia, Michigan (Grand Rapids Christian) defeated Kalamazoo's Helen Pelak, 6-2, 6-4.
At No. 3 singles, senior Bailey Chorney of Waunakee, Wisconsin (Waunakee) downed Kalamazoo's Sophie Zhuang, 6-2, 6-0.
At No. 5 singles, freshman Annika Weeber of Rockford, Michigan (Grand Rapids Christian) beat Kalamazoo's Ella Knight, 6-2, 6-2.
At No. 6 singles, sophomore Delanie Riebschleger of Rockford, Michigan (Rockford) recorded a 6-0, 6-3 victory against Kalamazoo's Maddie Hurley.
The Flying Dutch swept three doubles matches.
At No. 1 doubles, Jackson and Newhof teamed for an 8-3 victory against Pelak and Zhuang.
At No. 2 doubles, Weeber and Chorney partnered for an 8-5 victory against Norton and Renee Torres.
At No. 3 doubles, sophomore Taylor Truman of Hudsonville, Michigan (Hudsonville) and junior Saydee Johns of Holland, Michigan (Holland) topped Hurley and Meghan Killmaster, 8-3.
Hope's next match is Wednesday, April 7 at home against Calvin University.
