Hope College's Maggie Wehrmeyer is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Volleyball Specialist of the Week.
The freshman libero from Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) is honored for the first time in her Flying Dutch career.
Wehrmeyer averaged 19.3 digs over three matches last week against Albion College, Olivet College and Calvin University. The Flying Dutch won two of those matches.
Wehrmeyer recorded 22 digs during a 3-1 victory against Albion and finished with one of her season high.
Wehrmeyer also totaled five assists last week.
