Nick Hoffman Chosen as MIAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Hope College's Nick Hoffman has been selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

The senior from Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) has claimed the honor for the second time in his cross country career.

Hoffman recorded the fourth-fastest 8K time for an NCAA Division III men's runner at the Michigan State University Spartan Invitational on Friday.

The public accounting major finished the course at Forest Akers East Golf Course in 25 minutes, 53.8 seconds.

Hoffman placed 27th overall in the 266-runner field. There were competitors from NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and community colleges.
