Five members of the Hope College track and field teams have qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships this weekend in Winston Salem, N.C.
The Flying Dutchmen will send their distance medley relay of freshman freshman Connor Vachon, senior Nathan Trumble, junior Eli Meder, and senior Nick Hoffman. The relay will race on Friday, March 11, at 6:10 p.m.
Junior Ana Tucker will race in the women's 5,000 meters for the Flying Dutch on Friday at 4:35 p.m.

For each relay event contested, the top 12 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted.
For each women's individual event contested, including the pentathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each men's individual event contested, including the heptathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.
Tucker (Midland, Michigan / H.H. Dow) is seeded sixth with a time of 17 minutes, 5.30 seconds. The top seed is Kassie Parker of Loras College (Iowa) at 16:05.97.
Women's Accepted Entries
In the distance medley relay, Hope is seeded 11th with a time of 10:00.74 from Vachon (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison), Trumble (Granger, Indiana / Trinity School at Greenlawn), Meder (Williamston, Michigan / Lansing Catholic), and Hoffman (Holland, Michigan / Holland). The top seed is John Carroll University (Ohio) at 9:49.47.
