Three members of the Hope College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams have claimed NCAA Division III all-region honors, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced this week.
Senior Nick Hoffman and junior Ana Tucker both earned the honor in two events, while freshman Connor Vachon earned it in one.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned all-region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Hoffman (Holland, Michigan / Holland HS) ran to all-region distinction in the women's 800 and 1,500 meters.
Vachon (Jenison, Michigan / Jenison) received all-region honors in the men's 800 meters.
Tucker (Midland, Michigan / H.H. Dow) claimed all-region laurels in the women's 5,000 and 10,000 meters.
