Men's Lacrosse Set for MIAA Tournament Semifinal Showdown vs. Trine

The top-seeded and unbeaten Hope College men's lacrosse team begins the MIAA Tournament, presented by Collegiate Credit Union, against the same opponent that ended the Flying Dutchmen's season a year ago.

Hope (16-0) will host fourth-seeded Trine University (14-4) in the MIAA Tournament semifinals on Tuesday, April 28, at 7 p.m. at Van Andel Stadium.

Tickets can be purchased through the MIAA website in advance or at the gate. The game will be streamed exclusively on the MIAA Sports Network.

The Flying Dutchmen have built a school-record 16-game winning streak — the best start in school history — since losing to fourth-seeded Trine in the 2025 MIAA Tournament semifinals, 8-6, at Van Andel Stadium.

This season, Hope rolled to a third consecutive MIAA regular-season title, including a 10-7 victory at Trine on April 8. It was the Flying Dutchmen's closest league game of the season; all other wins came by double digits. Hope is the second team in league history to three-peat as regular-season champion.

The Hope-Trine winner advances to the championship game to face either second-seeded Calvin University or third-seeded Albion College.
