Defender John Foster Named to IMLCA All-America Teams

Hope College defender John Foster has been selected to the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association NCAA Division III All-America Teams.

The senior from Ada, Michigan (Forest Hills Central HS), is one of 26 recipients nationally and one of 13 second-team honorees.

This is Foster's second All-America accolade. The exercise science major previously made the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association list as a third-team selection.

Foster ranked second on the Flying Dutchmen with 40 caused turnovers and finished third with 72 ground balls while helping Hope's defense yield just 7.3 goals per game this season.

He helped the Flying Dutchmen finish with a program-best 20-1 record, advance to the NCAA Division III quarterfinals for the first time, record an undefeated 18-game regular season, win the MIAA Tournament for the fifth time, and claim their third consecutive MIAA regular-season championship.
