The Flying Dutchmen will look to new leaders as they strive to compete in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) during the 2013-14 season.
Hope must replace the production of the two All-MIAA performers that departed after last season. The Flying Dutchmen finished third in the MIAA.
Hope fields a roster of 27 that includes five seniors, four juniors, 10 sophomores and eight freshmen.
Co-captains for the Flying Dutchmen are seniors Jake Hunt of Muskegon (Mona Shores HS) and Alexander Perkins of Brighton (Howell HS).
Hope opens the season on Saturday when it travels to Calvin for the MIAA Relays.
The Flying Dutchmen rivalry with Calvin on Jan. 25 in the final regular-season dual meet of the season when it hosts the Knights.
The MIAA Championships are Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 through Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Calvin.
