The Hope men's swimming & diving team beat Olivet 132-90 on Saturday in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) action at the Dow Center.

The Flying Dutchmen took first in nine events, including the 200-yard medley and 200 freestyle relays.

Freshman Zach Diener of Lake Orion (Lake Orion HS) won the 1,000 freestyle in 10:37.03.

Senior Jake Hunt of Muskegon (Mona Shores HS) took first in the 200 freestyle with a swim of 1:47.07.

Freshman Jean Luc Miralda of Tegucigalpa, Honduras (Honduras American HS) posted the top scores in 1-meter diving with 228.75 points and 3-meter diving with 212.40 points.

Senior Andrew Larson of Jackson (Jackson HS) posted the fastest time in the 100 freestyle at 48.58.

Freshman Ryan Johnson of Milford (International Academy) won the 500 freestyle in 5:09.66. 

Freshman Trevor Wagoner of Hixson, Texas (McCalle HS) took first in the 200 backstroke in 2:09.48.
