The Hope men's swimming team finished sixth at the University of Chicago Fall Classic over the weekend.
The Flying Dutchmen totaled 228 points in the eight-team event.
Hope posted a high of fourth-place finishes in two events.
The 200-yard medley relay of freshman Christian Otteman, senior Alexander Perkins, senior Jake Hunt and senior Andrew Larson took fourth in 1 minute, 39.25 seconds.
Freshman diver Jean Luc Miralda was fourth in 1-meter diving with a score of 369.85 points.
Other Hope places were the 200 freestyle relay of Hunt, freshman Ryan Johnson, freshman Zach Diener and Larson in fifth at 1:27.54, Hunt in the 100 freestyle in sixth at 47.77, the 800 freestyle relay of Diener, Hunt, Johnson and sophomore Duncan MacLean in seventh at 7:20.25, sophomore Jeff Zita in the 100 breaststroke for eighth at 1:00.67, MacLean in the 1,650 freestyle in eighth at 18:04.03, the 800 freestyle relay of Otteman, Zita, Hunt and Larson in eighth at 3:39.78.
