The 2012-13 season saw two Hope swimmers received all-league honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). 

Senior Josh Grabijas of Howell (Howell HS) received the honor for a fourth consecutive year, while junior Nick Hazekamp of Janesville, Wis. (Joseph A. Craig HS) claimedthe distinction a third straight year.

The Flying Dutchmen finished third at the MIAA Championships. Junior Nick Hazekamp was a double winner for Hope during the meet. In the 200 backstroke, he and Kalamazoo's Kevin Ewing touched the wall simultaneously to share the gold medal (1 minute, 51.53 seconds) Hazekamp earlier successfully defended his MIAA championship in the 100-yard backstroke (51.30).
