The 25th-ranked Hope men's swimming & diving team lost at No. 20 Albion 168-125 on Saturday in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) action.
The Flying Dutchmen finished first in five events.
Senior Andrew Larson of Jackson (Jackson HS) won the 100-yard freestyle for Hope with a time of 49.05 seconds.
Junior William Greenlee of Northville (Northville HS) took first in the 100 butterfly in 53.86.
Sophomores Duncan MacLean of Grand Rapids (East Grand Rapids HS) and Jeff Zita of Holland (Holland Christian HS) won the 1,000 freestyle in 10:20.47 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:02.07, respectively.
Freshman Christian Otteman of Zeeland (Zeeland East HS), pictured, posted the top time in the 200 backstroke of 2:03.7.
