The Hope College men's swimming & diving team finished third at the Patrick Woehnker Invitational hosted by Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, this weekend. The two-day meet wrapped up on Saturday.
The Flying Dutchmen totaled 241 points for third place. DePauw, Indiana, won with 891.5 points. Wabash was runner-up with 743.5.
Sophomore Jean-Luc Miralda of Tegucigalpa, Honduras (Honduras American), won 1-meter diving with a score of 255.65 points.
Freshman Kevin Franz of Mundelein, Illinois (Mundelein HS), was second in 1-meter diving with 236.44 points.
Hope swept the top three spots in 3-meter diving. Miralda took first with 319.4 points, while Franz was runner-up at 243.45 points.
Freshman Kyle Weck of Marshall, Michigan (Marshall HS), took third in 3-meter diving with 213.15 points.
Hope competes next at the Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5-6, at the Wheaton College Invitational.
