The Hope College men's swimming & diving team is seeded first in one event for this week's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships.
The four-day meet at Calvin College begins Wednesday, February 12, and concludes on Saturday, February 15.

Freshman Zach Diener of Lake Orion (Lake Orion HS), pictured at right, holds the top seed in the 200-yard freestyle with a seed time of 1 minute, 42.31 seconds.
Coach John Patnott's Flying Dutchmen are seeded second in the 800 freestyle relay with a seed time of 6:57.75. They are seeded third in the 200 freestyle relay at 1:25.53 and third in the 400 freestyle relay at 3:07.93.

Freshman diver Jean-Luc Miralda of Tegucigalpa, Honduras (American HS), holds the third seed in 1-meter diving with a score of 369.85 points.
Sophomore Duncan MacLean of Grand Rapids (East Grand Rapids HS) is third in the 500 freestyle at 4:44.29.
Freshman Christian Otteman of Zeeland (Zeeland East HS) has the third seed in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:16.42 and the third seed in the 200 backstroke at 1:58.10.
The MIAA Championships will feature one session on Wednesday that begins at 7 p.m. Events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will offer 10 a.m. preliminaries and 5:30 p.m. finals each day.
