The Hope College men's swimming & diving team has earned a spot on the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Teams for the 2016 fall semester.
Coach John Patnott's Flying Dutchmen are among a record 638 women's and women's teams from all NCAA and NAIA divisions to receive the award.
The Flying Dutchmen recorded a team GPA of 3.13 last semester.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the fall semester.
The Hope women's swimming & diving team also claimed the award for the fall semester with a 3.65 team GPA.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America – the oldest organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
