Hope College's Jean Luc Miralda closed his diving career with a 13th-place finish on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Division III Championship on Saturday in Woodlands, Texas.

The senior from Tegucigalpa, Honduras (American HS) recorded a score of 458.65 during the final round of competition to earn honorable-mention All-America honors.]

Miralda qualified for the finals with a preliminary score of 474.65 points.

This was Miralda's first trip to a NCAA Championship meet.

On Thursday, Miralda placed 17th on the 1-meter board.

With Miralda's help, the Flying Dutchmen finished 47th in the team standings with four points.
