The Hope College men's and women's swimming & diving teams have claimed Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association for the 2017 spring semester.

Coach John Patnott's Flying Dutchmen and Flying Dutch were among a record 720 teams to achieve the distinction by recording at least a 3.0 grade point average during the semester.

The Flying Dutchmen recorded a team GPA of 3.10.

The Flying Dutch posted a team GPA of 3.46.

Both teams were CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams for the 2016 semester as well.
