Seven Men's Swimmers & Divers Make 2016-17 MIAA Academic Honor Roll

Seven members of the Hope College men's swimming & diving have earned spots on the 2016-17 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Honor Roll.

Daniel Clyde, freshman from Ann Arbor/Huron

Gus Dellacqua, freshman from Holland/Bloomington North

Kevin Franz, junior from Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein

Ryan Johnson, senior from Milford/International Academy West

Christian Otteman, senior from Zeeland/Zeeland East

Brian Simonich, sophomore from Highland/Milford

Trevor Wagoner, senior from Hixson, Tenn./Mccallie

The group is among a league-high 202 Hope College student-athletes to earn spots on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll by maintaining a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the year.

Wagoner is among 16 Hope College student-athletes who earned the honor all four years.

The academic awards program is administered by the faculty representatives of the MIAA member colleges.
