Hope College freshman Conner Halberg is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Swimming Athlete of the week for the second time in his career.

The native of Novi, Michigan (Northville HS) clocked two first place finishes for the Flying Dutchmen in the meet against No. 5-ranked University of Chicago. 

Halberg took home first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:41..97. 

In Halberg's second first place finish of the day, the second time Athlete of the Week recorded a winning time of 4:41.21.
