The Hope College men's lacrosse team did not allow a first-half goal and cruised to a 19-8 victory against Aquinas College at home on Wednesday.
The Flying Dutchmen raised their record to 5-1 overall with the non-league victory at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.
Hope jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first half.
Sophomore Michael Mann (Plymouth, Michigan / Detroit Jesuit HS) scored three of his season-high five goals and added three assists during the first two quarters against Aquinas (2-1).
Senior Jack Radzville (Howell, Michigan / Howell), pictured, chipped in one of his three goals and two of his team-leading five assists during the first half.
Senior Zach Wiggins (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Parchment) recorded both of his goals before halftime.
Hope outshot Aquinas, 30-16, during the first half and, 47-42, for the game.
Senior Brian Bera (Rockford, Michigan / Rockford) and junior Alex Goodall (Clarkston, Michigan / Lutheran Northwest) added two goals apiede for the Flying Dutchmen. Bera also had an assist.
