Ben Catton of the Hope College men's swimming and diving team was the lone swimmer on day two of the NCAA Division III Championships.
Catton (Holland, Michigan / Holland Christian HS) competed in the 100-yard butterfly on Thursday, March 16, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The junior posted a time of 48.28 for a 17th place finish during the preliminaries. He was .01 seconds off from qualifying for the 'B' final.
The four-day NCAA Championships at Greensboro Aquatic Center continue on Friday, March 17, at 10 a.m. with preliminaries and 6 p.m. with finals. Both sessions will be streamed on ncaa.com.
