Six Men's Swimmers to Compete at NCAA Division III Championships

Six Hope College men's swimmers will compete at the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships later this month in Greensboro, N.C.: senior Ben Catton, juniors Christian Dunaitis and Colin Kalkman, sophomore Henry Booker, and freshmen Graham Eisenmann and Christian Hoeksema.

The national championships are scheduled for Wednesday-Saturday, March 20-23, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Competition begins each day with trials at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. The meet will be live streamed on ncaa.com.

The Flying Dutchmen will race in three individual events and four relays.

Catton (Holland, Michigan / Holland Christian HS) swims individually in the 100-yard butterfly on Friday and the 100 freestyle on Saturday, and with relays in the 200 and 400 freestyle and 200 and 400 medley.

This is Catton's third trip to nationals.

Kalkman (Zeeland, Michigan / Holland Christian) qualified for the 100 backstroke that will be raced on Friday. Kalkman also will race in the 200 freestyle, and the 200 medley and 400 medley relays.

Eisenmann (Ozark, Montana / Ozark) will race in three relays: the 200 freestyle, the 200 medley and the 400 medley.

Dunaitis (Commerce Township, Michigan / Detroit Catholic Central) will swim in the 200 and 400 medley relays.

Booker (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville) will swim in the 400 freestyle relay.

Hoeksema (Holland, Michigan / Holland Christian) will compete in the 200 freestyle relay.
