Men's Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Spring Accolades

The Hope College men's swimming and diving team claimed the Scholar All-America Team accolades from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America for the 2025 spring semester.

The Flying Dutchmen, who sent nine swimmers to the NCAA Division III Championships in March, finished with a 3.31 GPA.

Hope, led by head coach Jake Taber, has earned CSCAA semester academic honors in nine consecutive years.

To earn the honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.

Samantha Barany, the CSCAA's executive director of the CSCAA, praised this semester's 763 honorees across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA divisions.

"These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes," Barany said in a statement. "Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."
