Runner Olivia Ippel led the Hope College women's track and field team's top effort at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Invitational on Friday.

The junior from St. Joseph, Michigan (St. Joseph) posted 17th-place, personal-best run of 17 minutes, 2.97 seconds. It was the Flying Dutch's best time of the season in the event.

Junior Mary England of Kalamazoo, Michigan (Kalamazoo Central) finished 22nd out of 197 runners at a personal-best 17:09.94.

Freshman Anna Sybenga of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Central) took 45th at a personal-best 17:33.42.
