Daniel Keith swam to first-place times in three events for the Hope College men's swimming & diving team during a 125-60 non-league victory against Luther College (Iowa) on Thursday in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The sophomore from Saline, Michigan (Saline HS) won the 50-yard backstroke in 32.10 seconds.
Keith also clocked the fastest efforts in the 50 freestyle at 25.36 and the 100 butterfly at 1:03.90.
Hope recorded the fastest swims in nine events, including eight individual ones.
Junior Daniel Clyde of Ann Arbor, Michigan (Huron) finished first in the 100 individual medley with a time of 1:08.37 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.53.
Junior Seth Costello of Williamston, Michigan (Williamston) went 1:12.00 in the 100 backstroke for first place.
Junior Keon Rick of Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake) won the 100 freestyle in 57.90 seconds.
Senior Brian Simonich of Highland, Michigan (Milford) posted a winning 1-meter diving total of 240.60 points.
Hope's next meet is Saturday, January 12 at the Michigan-Illinois Quad hosted by Wheaton College (Illinois).
