Swimmer Daniel Keith finished first in three races, while diver Grant Williams won two events for the Hope College men's swimming & diving team during a 168-122 dual meet loss to Calvin College on Saturday at Holland Aquatic Center.
The Flying Dutchmen won a total of six events.
Keith, pictured left, swept the sprint freestyle events. The sophomore from Saline, Michigan (Saline HS) clocked winning times in the 100-yard freestyle of 46.81 seconds and the 200 freestyle in 1:41.57.
Keith also anchored the first-place 200 freestyle relay. He teamed for a time of 1:26.36 with freshman Nick Weigle of Grandville, Michigan (Grandville), junior Daniel Clyde of Ann Arbor, Michigan (Huron) and junior Keon Rick of Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake).
Williams, pictured right, won 1-meter diving with a score of 284.45 points and 3-meter diving with a total of 262.20.
Clyde clocked a winning 200 butterfly time of 1:58.67.
Hope's next meet is the Wednesday-Saturday, February 20-23 MIAA Championships at Holland Aquatic Center.
