Hope College diver Brian Simonich finished 23rd in the nation on the 1-meter board on Thursday at the NCAA Division III Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
The senior from Highland, Michigan (Milford HS) recorded an 11-dive score of 375.95 points.
Simonich next will compete on the 3-meter board on Saturday.
On Friday, Hope swimmer Meg Peel will race in the 100-yard backstroke. She is seeded 12th.
The senior from Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake) will compete in the 200 backstroke on Saturday. She is seeded sixth.
