Hope College diver Brian Simonich is one of 24 qualifiers for the 2019 NCAA Division III national championships this month in Greensboro, N.C.

The senior from Highland, Michigan (Milford HS) earned his spot after finishing third in 3-meter diving and ninth in 1-meter diving at last weekend's regional meet at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, indiana.

Simonich will join women's swimmer Meg Peel in representing Hope College at the Wednesday-Saturday, March 20-23 national championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

This is Simonich's first trip to nationals.

Teammates Grant Williams of Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids) and Sara Plohetski of South Lyon, Michigan (South Lyon) have been selected as alternates for the men's and women's national championships, respectively.
