Men's 200 Medley Relay Places 19th at NCAA Division III Championships

The Hope College men's swimming and diving team's 200-yard medley relay finished 19th at the NCAA Division III Championships on Wednesday in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Freshman Colin Kalkman, junior Jack Muller, sophomore Ben Catton, and freshman Conner Halberg swam a time of 1 minute, 31.0 seconds during preliminaries.

Kalkman (Holland, Michigan / Holland Christian HS) clocked a 50-yard backstroke split of 23.07.

Muller (Queensland, Australia / Meridian State) followed with a 50-yard breaststroke time of 25.95.

Catton (Holland, Michigan / Holland Christian) posted a 50-yard butterfly split of 20.95.

Halberg (Novi, Michigan / Northville) finished with a 50-yard freestyle time of 21.03.

Halberg also competed in the 500 freestyle. He finished 35th during preliminaries with a swim of 4:34.15.

The four-day NCAA Championships at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis continue on Thursday, March 17, with preliminaries at 10 a.m.
